When this property was proposed for the National Register, someone wrote the case for it: what the building is, and why it matters. That document is a federal record in the public domain. Description of the property

Statement of significance

/Architect Statement of Significance (in one paragraph) Architecturally, the Vaughn house is essentially a survival of the late 1600-1699 1500-1599 1700-1799 1400-1499 dentils. communications commerce theater engineering industry humanitarian Period literature music 1900- law agriculture Vaughn was living ina completed frame house on this property.Although style, with the possible exception of the gable fanlights and doorway 8.
